Just another WordPress.com weblogHello students!
March 6, 2009: Hello students, I just went to a seminar on realizing your dreams. How to make your dreams come true and I wanted to share something I learned. The speaker said, “Take the word…
“Try…”
Out of your speech. It’s just an excuse for failure. Well, I tried. But it didn’t work out.” Commitment is promising yourself that even if you fail, you’ll pick yourself up and learn and continue on. Commitment is knowing there is no failure if you persevere.
Here’s your new assignment: Instead of a vision, write three long term goals. Like, I will get a high school diploma. (Note the word “will.”) But every good goal needs two more things: it needs a deadline and a description of how.
To complete your description of how you will get your diploma, write down at least one problem that could stop you, that would get in your way, and write down how you will solve that problem and get around it.
There are no roadblocks, just minor detours.
Feb. 23, 2009: This is a blog designed to help you to learn. Specifically, you can ask any question about reading or math. Use the comment key on the bottom of the page. Just left click on it. And a box will appear that you can write a comment on. Write down your question. I will answer it with a comment so everybody can see. If you want to ask something privately, email me at papaalhawaii@hotmail.com
OK? Any questions?
PS Check the middle column on the right. It has a link to instructions on how to send an email.
